Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of Zabi Quran / Salaah Prayer Companion ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. What the App provides
The App provides Islamic tools and content, including Quran reading, translations, tafsir, recitation audio, prayer times, Qibla, dhikr, dua, hadith, Ramadan tools, Hajj and Umrah guides, mosque and halal discovery, wallpapers, family and community features, analytics, subscriptions, and optional AI features.
2. Religious and educational disclaimer
The App is an educational and worship-support tool. It is not a substitute for qualified Islamic scholarship. Quran translations, tafsir, hadith explanations, AI responses, prayer-time calculations, Qibla direction, dream interpretation, wasiyya templates, finance calculators, and similar features may contain errors or differences of opinion. For personal religious rulings, inheritance, marriage, divorce, zakat, finance, health, safety, or legal matters, consult qualified scholars and relevant professionals.
3. Prayer times, Qibla, maps, and local discovery
Prayer times and Qibla depend on calculation method, location accuracy, device sensors, network data, and local mosque practice. Verify important times with your local masjid or trusted authority. Mosque and halal finder data may come from third-party or community sources and may be incomplete or outdated.
4. AI features
AI Quran Assistant, AI Dream Interpreter, AI Tajweed Coach, AI Memorization Coach, and related tools are assistive features. AI output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your specific situation. You are responsible for checking important answers against Quran, Sunnah, qualified scholars, and trusted sources. Do not submit private information, secrets, or information about others unless you have permission.
5. Accounts and guest use
You may use many features without an account. If you sign in with Google or another provider, you are responsible for keeping your account secure and for activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate another person.
6. Community rules
When using dua requests, groups, forums, family features, comments, questions, or other community tools, you agree not to post unlawful, hateful, harassing, explicit, misleading, spam, abusive, or privacy-violating content. We may remove content, restrict features, or suspend access when necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms.
7. Family and kids features
Family and kids-mode features must be managed by a parent or guardian where children are involved. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising children, setting appropriate goals, and deciding whether content is suitable for them.
8. Subscriptions and payments
Some features may require a paid plan such as Quran+, Scholar, or Family. When the App is distributed through Google Play, digital subscriptions and in-app purchases are handled through Google Play Billing unless an exception applies. Pricing, billing cycles, trials, renewals, cancellation, refunds, and taxes may be governed by Google Play, RevenueCat, or another payment provider shown at purchase time. If you cancel, access may continue until the end of the paid period. We may change plan features or prices with notice where required.
9. User content and licenses
You keep ownership of content you submit, such as notes, dua requests, questions, recitations, family goals, and shared cards. You grant us a limited license to store, process, display, transmit, moderate, and back up that content as needed to operate the App and provide requested features. Public or group content may be visible to other users according to the feature settings.
10. Intellectual property and Quran content
The App interface, design, software, generated templates, branding, and non-public systems belong to us or our licensors. Quran text, translations, tafsir, hadith, reciter audio, images, maps, and other resources may belong to their respective publishers, reciters, scholars, APIs, or open-data providers. You must respect all applicable licenses and credits. You may not copy, reverse engineer, resell, scrape, or abuse the App or backend services.
11. Third-party services
The App may rely on third-party services such as Google, Firebase, Google Play, RevenueCat, AI providers, maps, Overpass/OpenStreetMap, OpenMeteo, Unsplash, Pexels, Pixabay, cloud storage, hosting, analytics, crash reporting, and payment services. Their own terms and privacy policies may apply.
12. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the App, attack the servers, bypass rate limits, attempt unauthorized access, upload malware, scrape data at scale, interfere with other users, violate law, or use the App to harm people or communities.
13. Availability and changes
We work to keep the App reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Features may be changed, limited, paused, or removed. Some features require internet, device permissions, compatible sensors, third-party APIs, or subscription entitlement.
14. No warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that content, calculations, AI output, maps, audio, notifications, or services will be error-free, complete, or suitable for every user or location.
15. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or lost-profit damages arising from your use of the App. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the App or subscription during the previous three months, unless local law requires a higher amount.
16. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms, create risk, abuse the service, or if required by law. Sections that by nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

18. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as the App changes. We will update the effective date and provide notice where required. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
